Your profile
Have you been working as a DevOps specialist for a while? Are you now looking to see what more is out there?
We have an interesting career opportunity for you here at Anders, where you can work both as part of our internal DevOps team and also widen your perspective and skillset in customer projects as a consultant.
At Anders, we deliver digital solutions to smart cities, the education sector, GIS applications as well as diverse private companies. We build digitally sustainable software solutions that bring our customers long-term value.

Join our team to build digitally sustainable solutions together with the best colleagues!

We hope that you’re located in Finland, but other than that, we don’t mind which city you work from. Many Andersians are still working mostly remote, while some have returned to the office – most of us are utilizing hybrid practices. We organize plenty of activities together, both physically and online, and the team spirit is buzzing strong.

Your future work community consists of an amazing team of 40 people, including software developers, software and solution architects, DevOps experts, project managers, and business professionals. We are a warm-hearted, development-hungry, diverse work community. We love boldness and a sense of humor and we are proud of our strong team spirit!

As a DevOps expert, you utilize your expertise in building and maintaining the software development environment. Your core mission is to facilitate and ease the work of software developers by utilizing various tools and methods related to DevOps, as well as providing guidance to others on how to use them.
Some of the tools used at Anders and in our customer projects include Ansible, Docker, Linux, Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Terraform, RHEL and OpenShift.
As mentioned earlier, in addition to your skilled project team, you will also be a part of Anders’ internal DevOps team. We have been strengthening our DevOps capabilities for years and have made tremendous progress in both our own practices and our tools. We have built our own CI / CD platform, we participate in an international EU project and offer our customers high-quality software development with the support of our DevOps operating models.
The DevOps team is led by Paul, who has a big heart, a good sense of humor, and most of all, a will to help you succeed. Your future team member, Joonas, also sends you his regards via this blogpost. Go check out what Anders’ DevOps team has to offer you!

What skills and attributes do you need to succeed?
  • You are familiar with DevOps principles and practices: you have already some years of experience of working in the DevOps environment.
  • You know how to build and manage a CD/CI pipeline, and you are familiar with automation methods and tools.
  • You are self-directed and you are interested in finding solutions to improve automation and the user experience for developers.
  • You are generally interested in DevOps and in good software development practices. You appreciate openness and good cooperation.
Why us?
We are committed to sustainable digital development that maximizes customer benefits and minimizes unnecessary development time and costs. Our biggest asset is our people – we Andersians have created an exceptional (some say weird) culture that is something we are very proud of. Anders is a diverse and cultural organization where you can (and you should) be your own great personality.
We do not push, nor do we politicize, but we always want to build better operating models together with our employees. Our growth is strong and we want to involve our employees in developing our business.

You do not have to negotiate summer holidays separately, as we give (depending on your seniority) 2-4 weeks holiday rights straight away. In addition, we support the well-being of our employees with various benefits and strive to organize activities with the work team even now during exceptional circumstances. We believe that the employee gets the best results when overall well-being is taken care of.
More experienced colleagues at Anders get to tutor and mentor younger developers. We encourage people to give lectures, talks, write blogs and teach others. You can choose your own toolset and it’s up to you how you want to decorate your own table or leave it as it is. Really the only thing we force upon you is your colleagues, but because they are a bunch of awesome people, it’s actually a good thing.
We are looking forward to hearing from you!
